A warm and inviting family-owned winery crafting crowd-pleasing, delicious wines in the heart of Sonoma County.

Autumn is a magical time in Sonoma Wine County. The valley is painted with vibrant shades of orange, red, and yellow throughout. It's also an exciting time as wineries get ready to harvest their crop for the year. With some of the nicest weather of the year, it's our favorite time to be outside soaking in the sun and enjoying the season with a glass of wine in hand. Located in Sebastopol, Taft Street is a family-owned winery crafting delicious wines in the heart of Sonoma County. What you get with Taft Street’s portfolio is really good wine that’s down-to-earth and fun to enjoy. Their charming outdoor space has a bocce ball court and inviting picnic tables sprinkled throughout their patio next to a lovely setting of trees.

This is your sign to visit Sonoma County this Fall.

Guests that visit the tasting room are greeted by a warm and friendly team who are ready to help with tasting selections. It's touches like this that really help make your wine country experience memorable. Tastings are happening outside in the patio so a reservation is needed but they'll try to accommodate walk-ins if space is available. The picnic tables are spaced out nicely and set against trees that help give some shade when they are full.

BYOP: Bring your own picnic to enjoy with the wine at Taft Street Winery

There's nothing like a picnic in wine country and Taft Street Winery has the perfect space for it. Pack a basket full of your favorite bites and snacks to pair with your tasting flight.. Or stop by The Barlow if you're up for some lunch fare. It's a quick 10 minute drive from Taft Street and they've got a little bit of everything from sushi to pizza for your hungry crew. We grabbed a couple of pizzas from Acre Pizza and enjoyed them with our tasting flights. Great space to catch up with friends and we felt right at home in the outdoor patio.

Good company and good wine is our

kind of afternoon.

Wine tastings at Taft Street are offered by the flight or by the glass. If you need help making a selection, the team at Taft Street is happy to help with some recommendations based on what you like. The wines are delicious. We started with a tasting flight trio of reds which consisted of the 2018 Skikos Pinot Noir, 2018 Los Amigos Vineyard Merlot, and 2016 Medallion Red Blend. We enjoyed all three with our favorite of the day being the Skikos Pinot Noir. A bright, bold Pinot Noir with fresh, fruity flavors. We bought a couple of bottles of the Skikos Pinot Noir to enjoy and relive our wine country experience at home.

You know what pairs well with wine? Bocce Ball.

A Cheers to Harvest 2021!
